Mallards Team with the Lodge Hotel and Conference Center

MOLINE, Ill. (August 5, 2011) - The Quad City Mallards of the "AA" Central Hockey League today announced that The Lodge Hotel and Conference Center in Bettendorf will again this season be the Mallards' official host hotel.

"It gives us great pleasure to renew this important relationship with The Lodge and with Ray Stoddard," said Jon Pritchett, CEO of CLUB 9 SPORTS, the Mallards' ownership group. "We want to do business with as many locally-owned businesses as possible in the Quad Cities - and it doesn't matter which side of the river. We appreciate the opportunity to work with The Lodge and other companies all over the Quad Cities in forming partnerships that help us all improve local commerce."

CHL clubs visiting the Quad Cities to take on the Mallards throughout the 2011-12 season will stay at The Lodge, which will also host the Mallards' players during the Flock's training camp in October. This marks the third straight year The Lodge will serve as the Mallards' host hotel.

"It is exciting to see the enthusiasm that the Mallards' new ownership group has brought to the Quad Cities," said Ray Stoddard, The Lodge's general manager.
