Last Game
Jason Binkley scored and piled up three assists and Marc-Olivier Roy, Daniel Maggio and Garrett Thompson scored two goals apiece as the host Fort Wayne Komets rolled past the Mallards 7-1 Saturday. Sam Warning scored the lone Mallard goal.
Stop Sign
Saturday's loss ended the Mallards' three-game winning streak.
Deep Sixed
Saturday's setback was the Mallards' most lopsided defeat since they suffered a 7-1 Central Hockey League loss to the Wichita Thunder on January 17, 2014 at INTRUST Bank Arena.
Seven Up
The Mallards Saturday night gave up more goals than they have in any game since falling 8-7 to the Fuel in Indianapolis on March 19.
Home Sweet Home
The Mallards have returned home for three games in five days having won their last three home games.

Saturday's game was just the Mallards' second road tilt of the season.

Ivan Kulbakov's three-game winning streak was halted Saturday in Fort Wayne. The rookie made 22 saves while allowing the first five Komet goals over 29 minutes and 40 seconds. Kulbakov ranks second in the ECHL in saves (218) and is tied for fifth in wins (4). Alex Sakellaropoulos made his Mallard debut when he replaced Kulbakov in the second period of Saturday's game and made 14 saves on 16 shots in 30:20.

Ryan McGrath notched his first Mallard point with an assist Saturday.

Justin Kovacs has 100 career points...Tristan King has 93 career goals...Garrett Klotz has 976 career regular season penalty minutes.
Special Teams
While the Mallards went 0-for-3 on the power play Saturday, they have scored four power play goals (on 17 opportunities) over their last four games. The Mallards rank twenty-third in the ECHL on the power play (12.5 percent). The Mallards went 4-for-5 on the penalty kill Saturday and are now tied for eighteenth in penalty killing (80.0 percent) on the season.

Tonight's game is the first ever meeting between the Mallards and Thunder and the only match-up between the two clubs this season.
