Mallards Game Caps off Lighting on the Commons Saturday

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards' game this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at the iWireless Center will immediately follow Lighting on the Commons on nearby John Deere Commons in downtown Moline and families attending the Quad Cities' annual kick-off to the holiday season will receive vouchers good for a free kids' ticket to the Mallards' game with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Lighting on the Commons will culminate in the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks beginning at 6:00 p.m. Admission to Lighting on the Commons is free. The event kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and will feature tractor-drawn wagon rides, children's activities, refreshments, live Christmas music and more. In addition, Santa and Mrs. Claus are expected to make a special appearance. The Mallards' Ice Girls will also join in the holiday fun.

After the lighting and fireworks have concluded, patrons can make the short walk to the iWireless Center box office to take advantage of the special ticket offer and get their seats for the Mallards' meeting with the Nailers.

Fans can skate with the Mallards after Sunday's 4:05 p.m. rematch with Wheeling at the iWireless Center. Fans who bring their skates can join all of their favorite Mallards on the ice.

Sunday brings the second of five postgame skates this season. Fans can also hit the ice alongside the Mallards after each of the Flock's final three Sunday home games: February 12 against the Elmira Jackals and February 26 and March 26 against the Wichita Thunder.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including this weekend's contests- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000 . The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
