Mallards Act as Waiters Tomorrow Night to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project

MOLINE, Ill. (January 28, 2014) - Tip-A-Mallard will see Quad City Mallards players act as waiters tomorrow night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bier Stube in Moline and LeClaire to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

All tips earned by Mallard "waiters" will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project raises awareness and enlists the public's aid to meet the needs of injured service members, helps injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other and provides unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

Mallards players will shed their sticks and skates to serve fans at the Bier Stube's locations at 415 15th Street in Moline and 1001 Canal Shore Drive in LeClaire.

The Mallards next play at home Friday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers. Friday is another $1 Dog/$1 Beer Night presented by 97X. $1 hot dogs and beers will be available at iWireless Center concession stands during each of the Mallards' 11 Friday night home games this season.

Tickets for Friday night's game and all Mallards regular season home games can be purchased at the iWireless Center ticket office, Ticketmaster outlets, through ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The ticket office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
