Major Sockers Press Conference Scheduled for Tuesday

The San Diego Sockers have scheduled a press conference for Tuesday, June 12th at 11:30am inside the Arena Room of the Valley View Casino Center (formerly the San Diego Sports Arena). The Sockers will make a major announcement regarding the team's plans for 2012-2013 and beyond.

Sockers owners Phil Salvagio, Dave Pike and Carl Savoia, Sockers general manager John Kentera and Ernie Hahn, the senior vice president and CEO of the Valley View Casino Center, will be in attendance along with select Sockers players.

All working media are invited to attend, and one-on-one interview opportunities will be made available after the press conference. Pizza and beverages will be served. The Valley View Casino Center is located at 3500 Sports Arena Boulevard. The media are advised to enter via the main tunnel and turn right to find the Arena Room.
