Major League Soccer and JLab Announce Multi-Year Partnership Extension
November 5, 2020 - Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release
NEW YORK, N.Y. - Major League Soccer and JLab Audio, a leading audio company and #1 accessible true wireless brand in America, announced today a multi-year partnership extension which designates JLab as the official audio and microphone partner of the League. As part of the expanded partnership, JLab will also become the official audio and microphone partner of eMLS, MLS' competitive EA SPORTS™ FIFA League.
With a focus on developing innovative and authentic products, JLab's partnership will continue to focus on providing the best wireless audio technology to MLS fans and athletes. JLab will also activate at marquee MLS events, including MLS Cup, and throughout the eMLS competitive season.
"Through Major League Soccer's partnership with JLab, we have merged sports and technology to deliver enhanced experiences and premium products to our fans and players," said Jen Cramer, MLS SVP of Partnership Marketing. "We are excited to extend our partnership with JLab and we look forward to having their technology at our events for many years to come."
The wide-ranging partnership features product integration across MLS studio shows and entertainment systems at MLS events, as well as digital, video and content brand integrations, in-stadium exposure, and more. To celebrate the partnership, JLab has also offered fans ultimate experience packages, prizes, and more. Throughout the partnership, MLS and JLab have collaborated annually on hundreds of MLS-themed playlists curated by players.
"MLS and JLab are both innovators in their categories - while still offering an accessible product," said Terra Teat, JLab Chief Marketing Officer. "We're excited to extend and expand our partnership as we continue to engage with MLS's dedicated fans and athletes."
In celebration of the renewal announcement and the League's 25th season celebration, each member of the two 2020 MLS Cup teams will receive custom MLS Cup Studio Pro wireless headphones - which were released at retail this month. The 25th annual championship game will take place on Saturday, December 12 on FOX and the Univision networks.
In December, as part of their league deal, JLab will also announce several new club partnerships for 2021. For more information on MLS and JLab, visit MLSsoccer.com and jlabaudio.com/mls .
