Maione Traded to Guelph

Niagara IceDogs General Manager Dave Brown announced today that defenseman Mathew Maione has been traded to the Guelph Storm in exchange for a 10th round pick in 2011 OHL Priority Selection.
The 18-year old played in 107 regular season games over two seasons with the IceDogs, collecting 8 goals and 27 assists for 35 points. He also played in 21 playoff games for Niagara, collecting 5 assists in those games.
"We would like to thank Mathew for all his contributions to the IceDogs organization over the past two seasons" said Brown "We wish him the best of luck in Guelph."
