(PORTLAND, ME) -- The Maine Freeze Women's Football Team will hold its final tryout of the season on Saturday, March 8 at the UNE Gym on Stevens Ave in Portland from 6:30-8:30p.m. The current Freeze roster stands at 43, but the Maine Freeze coaching staff is looking to add additional qualified and athletic individuals in time to play in the March 29th pre-season game.

"We are going to be looking at this tryout from a different perspective", says Head Coach Jason McLeod. "As we are now deep into our pre-season, we are going to be looking more closely at each of the ladies prior athletic experience and expect an immediate impact from the players we choose to bring on board. The coaching staff has also been diligently recruiting at local colleges trying to identify players who will be able to add some depth to the squad."
