
Macon Knights Set 24-Man Roster

MACON, Ga. â The Macon Knights announced their 24-man roster for the 2003 season today. Sixteen players return from the 2002 team which finished 14-4 and were named the American Conference Eastern Division Champions.
Highlighting the players returning from last year are FB/LB Byron Douzart, FB/LB Rendell Jackson, OS Jacques Rumph, WR/DB Tremaine Neal, DS Denario Smalls, OL/DL Jason Berger, OL/DL Cory Smith and OL/DL André Slappey.
The 24-man roster will be broken down to 19 active players, two inactive players and three players on injured reserve before the first game Saturday, April 5th.
The Knights open the season with three home games against the Green Bay Blizzard (April 5th), the Greensboro Prowlers (April 11th) and the Birmingham Steeldogs (April 19th). For more information, or to purchase tickets, contact the Macon Knights office at (478) 314-3000.
