Macomb County Mustangs News Release


The Macomb County Mustangs will be tipping off the season at home on April 9th. The Mustangs are still in the process of working out arrangements on a place to play their home games. "I have been dealing with Mt. Clemens and Dakota High and I am hoping to finalize one of those locations by the end of next week" Bullock said "Things got held up this week with schools being off for mid-winter break."

The Mustangs had a very successful tryout on the 11th and 12th with a turn out of over 50 men looking to hoop it up for the Mustangs. The Mustangs did invite back 25 of those players for a second look at practice.

The Macomb County Mustangs have added to their coaching staff, Adam Demorest who is currently a coach with Rochester College. Demorest is also familiar with one of the gyms the Mustangs might call home with Dakota High. Demorest was Dakota's Varsity Basketball coach from 2000-04, and is still currently teaching at the school. "Adam knows this game inside and out and he has been a great addition to our staff." Said Head Coach Milton Douglas.

Season Tickets are now on sale there is an early bird special price of $60 per seat if you order by March 15th, after the 15th season tickets will go up to $70 per seat.
