Macomb County Mustangs News Release
The Macomb County Mustangs will be tipping off the season Friday April 7th at St. Clement in Centerline. There will be some new faces on the court and as well as on the bench, with it being the first game for new Head Coach Terry Mills, the Mustangs plan to make it special. All tickets of that night are going to be just $5.00 per person and before the tip off and at half time Detroit's own Uncle ILL will be performing.
Uncle ILL began rapping at age 12 in Detroit, Michigan after seeing the movie Breakin'... inspired from the emceeing in it, and the way the emcee battling was so on point. The very next day he went out to purchase the soundtrack to find out that the emcee who inspired him was named Ice-T. Uncle Ill started mimicking rappers and soon started writing my own songs. Making his original hip hop music soon found him bumping heads and working with other Detroit notables like Kid Rock, Champtown, Eminem and more. After making a few recordings with Champtown, Uncle Ill linked up with rapper producer Hush to form their own group called DaRuckus. Da Ruckus put out one album independently before being picked up by Federation Records. Federation Records released two singles: 'We Shine' with Eminem and 'We Came Here To Party' with Dale. Uncle ILL has shared the stage with Usher, 50 cent, Busta Rhymes, MC Breed, JA Rule and many more. Uncle ILL has recorded songs for Better Made Chips, the Detroit Pistons, and the Tigers.
