
MacNicol signs with Barons for 2004-05

The Cleveland Barons Hockey organization are proud to announce the signing of goaltender Blake MacNicol to a tender for the upcoming 2004-05 season.
MacNicol, the 5'7" 145lb goalie from Milan, OH, is currently playing for the Cleveland Barons Midget Major team. MacNicol, born on 12-31-86, has played in 32 games with 17wins 11 losses and 4 ties. Blake carries a 90.8 save percentage and a 2.81 goals against while facing an average of 38 shots per game. Barons Midget Major coach Chris Lepkowski has this to say on MacNicol; " Blake has been an integral part of our team, with his work ethic, he will great success at the next level."
MacNicol has been in the Barons organization for the past five years, and has guided two of those team to the national championship. Barons Head Coach/GM Tim Alexander has this to say on MacNicol. " Blake has tremendous skills and athleticism, with hard work he will have a great future in a Baron uniform. Blake has the skill to go as far as he want in the game of hockey."
MacNicol currently attends Edison High School in Milan, OH.
