PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves infielder Ozzie Albies has been placed on the disabled list. In corresponding moves, recently acquired infielder Dylan Moore has been promoted to Double-A Mississippi from High-A Carolina.

Between Triple-A Gwinnett and Double-A Mississippi this season, Albies posted a combined batting average of .292 with 33 doubles, 10 triples, six homers and 53 RBI. In 82 games with the Double-A Braves this season, Albies had a .321 average with 22 doubles, seven triples, four homers and 33 RBI and claimed the Southern League Batting Title. He started the season at Mississippi but joined the G-Braves at the end of April. In 56 contests there, Albies hit .248 with 16 extra-base hits and 20 RBI before rejoining the M-Braves June 30. Tagged the "Best Infield Arm" among Braves minor leaguers, the Curacao native was signed by the Braves as a non-drafted free agent on July 2, 2013.

Moore, 24, began the season at Low-A Hickory where he posted a .244 average in 101 games. He joined High-A High Desert in early August where he was hitting .351 through 17 games with Mavericks prior to being traded to the Braves. After joining the High-A Carolina club, Moore appeared in 10 games and posted a .343 average. Combined for the season, he had 14 home runs, 63 RBI and 42 stolen bases. The California native was originally selected by the Rangers in the seventh round of the 2015 draft out of the University of Central Florida. He was acquired by the Braves on August 24, 2016, as part of a three-team trade between Atlanta, Texas and Miami.

The Mississippi roster has 25 active players, 6 disabled and 1 ML Rehab.
