
LW Ryan Bayda recalled by Carolina

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that left wing Ryan Bayda has been recalled by the Carolina Hurricanes on an emergency basis. Hurricanes left wing Cory Stillman is out for tonight's game against Phoenix due to an upper-body injury.
Bayda has six goals and seven assists with a plus-7 rating in 16 games with the River Rats this season. He played five games with Carolina in October, tallying one goal and one assist. The Saskatoon, Sask., native recorded a hat trick in Albany's most recent game, a 7-3 victory at Bridgeport on New Year's Eve.
The River Rats, who have won three of their last four games and are 10-4-1-0 in
their last 15, begin a three-game homestand Friday, January 5 against Bridgeport at
