The event kicked off with the official signing of Ronnie Bertelsmeyer, the newest addition to The Ozarks Lunkers team, underscoring the organization's commitment to assembling a talented roster and providing thrilling entertainment for fans. General Manager Caleb Scott provided insights into the 6 ft, 210 lb, dual threat athlete's background and achievements, highlighting the valuable addition he brings to the team.
Following the signing, VP of Operations Monica Henderson announced a monumental partnership between The Ozarks Lunkers and Bass Pro Shops. This partnership designates Bass Pro as the official "boat and tackle" partner of The Ozarks Lunkers. The collaboration represents a shared vision and commitment to supporting the local community while fostering a love for outdoor sports and activities. A partnership poster was unveiled, symbolizing the exciting initiatives to come.
In addition to the partnership announcement, the team introduced an exciting initiative: The Ozarks Lunkers x Bass Pro Shops Boat Raffle. This raffle offers inaugural home opener attendees the chance to win a BASS BUGGY 16 XL Select pontoon fishing boat. Raffle tickets will be available exclusively at the inaugural season home opener on June 1st at Wilson Logistics Arena at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Raffle tickets will be priced at $25 each or 5 for $100, with all profits from the raffle benefiting the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Ozarks, emphasizing the organizations' collective efforts to make a positive impact in the community.
