Lumberjacks Loan Quinn Hutson to USNTDP

MUSKEGON, Mich. - Muskegon Lumberjacks forward Quinn Hutson has been temporarily loaned to the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP) U18 squad for this upcoming weekend.

Hutson, the 5-foot-11, 171-pound forward has appeared in 21 games with the Lumberjacks this season, totaling 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. The Barrington, Ill. native leads the Lumberjacks in points, is second on the team in goals and assists, and was recently named USHL Forward of the Week in week 10 of the USHL regular season. Hutson is committed to play for the Boston University Terriers out of Hockey East.

As part of the loan agreement, Hutson will join the USNTDP U18 squad for two games this upcoming weekend where he will skate alongside his younger brother, Lane, who is currently a defenseman on USNTPD.

"I'm excited to get the chance to play for Team USA with my brother and against the school I am committed to," said Hutson. "This is a great opportunity to play for the team that the Lumberjacks always have great games against at a higher level."

The USNTDP is slated to play a pair of games this weekend against Boston University and Merrimack College.

"When this opportunity presented itself to Quinn, we couldn't be more excited for him," said Lumberjacks Head Coach Mike Hamilton. "This is not only a great opportunity for Quinn to play with Team USA but also a chance to play with his brother and against NCAA competition, including Boston University."

‚¬â€¹ ‚¬â€¹Hutson is scheduled to reunite with the Lumberjacks next week after this weekend's set of games in New England.
