Lubbock Hawks News Release
The Lubbock Hawks of the National Women's Basketball League wants Lubbock to help the team collect can foods for families in the South Plains.  The Lubbock Hawks' cheerleaders, mascot, and players, will be at Wal-Mart located on the South Loop on Saturday, November 6, 2004 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM and Sunday, November 7, 2004 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. The team will be collecting can foods for families in need for the holiday season in front of the main entrance of Wal-Mart. All cans will be donated to the South Plains Food Bank.
