
LOVB Atlanta Adds Pitt Setting Sensation Rachel Fairbanks to Roster

After leading the University of Pittsburgh Panthers to four NCAA national semifinals, three time all American setter Rachel Fairbanks will be joining LOVB Atlanta Volleyball for its inaugural season.
As the seventh athlete to join LOVB after playing collegiately in 2024 and the 10th collegiate athlete playing in her first professional season, Fairbanks will bring her renowned setting skills to the court as she helps LOVB deliver an all new level of professional play to the US.
Originally from Tustin, California, Rachel began her volleyball career playing for LOVB's Tstreet Volleyball Club and is the perfect embodiment of LOVB's youth to pro league approach in action.
Over her storied career, Fairbanks was named three AVCA All-American, earning designations including First Team All-American in both 2023 and 2024, as well as the 2023 ACC Setter of the Year. She was also named First Team All-ACC in 2023 and 2024 and Second Team All-ACC in 2022. As a sophomore in 2022, she also recorded the first triple-double in Pitt's modern scoring era.
In addition, Fairbanks has competed internationally as a member of the U.S. U21 National Team and won gold at both the 2022 and 2023 U21 Pan American Cups.
