Huntsville Havoc News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach, John Gibson, announced today that the team has signed defenseman Jonathan Lounsbury.
Lounsbury has played in 111 career games, all in Huntsville, and has scored nine goals and recorded 62 assists. He was named First-Team All-SPHL last season and claimed the scoring title for defensemen.
"I'm excited to be back in a Huntsville uniform," Lounsbury said. "This is a great group of guys that Coach Gibson has assembled and I'm ready to do my part to help with a championship."
He went to camp earlier this season with the Colorado Eagles of the CHL where he broke his ankle in their first game this season. He has been in Huntsville rehabbing and has been cleared to play.
Defenseman, Chris Shaw, has been placed on the 30-day injured reserve with a pulled groin.
The Havoc will host the Twin City Cyclones tonight at 7:30 on CenturyTel Ice at the Von Braun Center.
