Louisville, KY-The Louisville Fire Arena Football team has been assigned Cody Eubanks (6'2,200 lbs., Campbellsville University). Eubanks attended the Louisville Fire's tryouts on February 2.
Cody Eubanks, originally from Franklin, KY, was a two sport athlete at Campbellsville University. Eubanks was a member of the football team from 2002-06 and track team from 2005-07. In 2006 he recorded 402 yards on 27 receptions and scored three touchdowns. Eubanks ranked tenth in 2006 in the Mid South Conference in yards per game with 40.2 and 12th in receptions per game with 2.7. In 2006 he was also named to the 2006 Western Division 2nd Team All-Mid South Conference. Eubanks also holds the school record in the 400-meter with a time of 49.30.
"Cody Eubanks has great potential. He has size, athleticism, and is very versatile. We're expecting good things from him," stated Assistant Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel George Eskridge when asked about Eubanks.
The Louisville Fire will kickoff the 2008 season against the Iowa Barnstormers on March 29. Season tickets for the 2008 Fire season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 502.368.0009 today. Season ticket packages begin at $72.
