Louisville City FC News Release
LOUISVILLE - Louisville City FC can today confirm international call-ups for defender Shaun Francis and midfielder Devon "Speedy" Williams to the Jamaican National Team for a CONCACAF Nations League qualifier on Saturday. City's resident "Reggae Boyz" will face Suriname in the team's third CNL qualifier after defeating Cayman Islands and Bonaire by a combined 10-0.
"[Frano] and I are looking forward to returning to play for our country," said Williams. "It's always an honor to put on our colors and to get more minutes after a long season and we are ready to go again."
This will be the third time both Francis and Williams will be called upon to don the Black, Yellow, and Green for the Jamaica Football Federation in 2018.
Williams and Francis both received call-ups for the CNL qualifier against Bonaire on October 14 with "Frano" featuring for a full 90 minutes and Williams subbing in after 68 minutes in the team's massive 6-0 victory.
