New Orleans Blues News Release

New Orleans, LA. The ABA Louisiana Blues professional basketball team, scheduled to begin play in November 2006, today announced the launching of its new website - www.abablues.com. The website will display all of the team's information and be one of the most active sites in the league even though the team will not be playing this season. The team will be holding tryouts and will be playing exhibition and inter-squad games in the interim.

According to Kyle B. Franklin, Manager of Basketball Operations, "New Orleans is a special city with major entertainment attractions, much like Las Vegas, with its entertainment attractions. We need to do these a little differently with a lot of pop to be competitive in this market. And that's what we're all about. People will love the fan friendly exciting professional basketball and entertainment we have planned - and our website will keep everyone posted on our progress."

For more information, email abablues@aol.com, visit www.abablues.com, call 504 431 5388 or visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
