LouCity to Make Network TV Debut as Part of 2024 Broadcast Schedule

Louisville City FC will play on national television five times in 2024 as the boys in purple also make their first-ever network TV appearance.

The USL Championship on Tuesday released a broadcast schedule that includes LouCity's Saturday, April 6, home game against rival Indy Eleven on CBS. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Lynn Family Stadium.

City will also feature on ESPN2 on Saturday, August 10, at home against Sacramento Republic FC. Kickoff shifted to 9 p.m. to accommodate the TV assignment.

TV slots were allocated as part of the United Soccer League's landmark multi-year rights agreement with CBS Sports that will air 100 USL matches annually through the 2027 USL Championship and USL League One seasons. The USL also re-signed to stream games nationally on ESPN+.

Separately, LouCity extended its deals with local broadcast partner WDRB Media to air all games not selected for national TV on WBKI/The CW or MyTV 58. ESPN Louisville's AM 680/FM 105.7 will continue as the club's radio home.

"We're thrilled to get these national TV opportunities to showcase our club, particularly the network exposure thanks to the USL's new partnership with CBS Sports," said LouCity's president, James O'Connor. "I would encourage our fans to find that extra friend or family member, bring them with you, and help us fill Lynn Family Stadium for the whole country to see. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show the support behind pro soccer in Louisville."
