INDIANAPOLIS, IN-The Blast, in partnership with Karma Music, gave fans an opportunity to choose the music to be played during player introductions at each home game. The fans have spoken. In a close contest between the Top 5, the number one pick was "Lose Yourself" by Eminem.
The Blast will use their new music when they step on the field Friday at Kuntz Stadium for the first time at home in 2003. The Blast will host the El Paso Patriots this Friday, May 9th at 7:35pm in a match that also doubles as the first leg of Open Cup qualifying.
Blast President Kim Morris has decided to open the gates for the season opener and has labeled the event "FREEBIE FRIDAY."
"Just decided to roll out the season in a really BIG way! It's been a tough year for a lot of folks and this is our way of saying forget your worries and just come have some fun with the Blast," states Morris.
All games are played at Kuntz Memorial Stadium located at 1502 W. 16th Street. Kuntz Stadium is an Indy Parks facility.

UPCOMING APPEARANCES-Be sure to check out the Blast on the Fox 59 AM show this Thursday morning. Several Blast players will be teaching the FOX 59 AM crew how to play like the pros.
On Friday morning tune your radio to 99.5 FM as Captain Mark Allen, Peter Baah, and Josh Lynk hang out with Smiley from the Smiley in the Morning Show starting at 6:45am.
NEXT HOME GAME-The Blast's next home game after "FREEBIE FRIDAY" will be Friday May 16th at 7:35pm. The Blast will be taking on the Cincinnati Riverhawks for the second time in 2003. It's High School and College Night. All students will receive 2-4-1 admission by showing their school ID and two lucky students will get the chance to win up to $500 in the Roll in the Dough promotion.
