Los Angeles Participates in NBA Nights

EL SEGUNDO, CA - The Los Angeles D-Fenders will participate in NBA Nights presented by adidas, a 14-game celebration of the relationship between the NBA and the NBA Development League. It will feature D-League teams wearing the uniforms of their NBA-affiliated teams in games spanning two months. The program, which tips off its second season on Dec. 7, will also see dance teams and mascots from around the NBA as well as NBA team giveaways.
"More than 10 percent of NBA players are former D-Leaguers and there are 15 current NBA players on assignment playing in the D-League right now," said NBA Development League President Dan Reed. "NBA Nights is yet another example of the D-League's strong bond with the NBA, and provide a fantastic experience for our fans."
The Los Angeles D-Fenders will don the Los Angeles Lakers white uniforms as they host the Bakersfield Jam Sunday, December 16th (2:30 tip-off) at STAPLES Center. To complete the NBA experience, the Jam will be wearing the jersey of their affiliate, the Golden State Warriors.
