Los Angeles D-Fenders and Bakersfield Jam to Face off in 2012 NBA Development League Playoffs

NEW YORK, April 16, 2012 - The top-seeded Los Angeles D-Fenders and the Bakersfield Jam, the sixth overall seed, will tip off the semifinal round of the 2012 NBA D-League Playoffs presented by BBVA on Thursday, April 19, in Bakersfield at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The D-Fenders advanced to the semifinals having defeated the eighth-seeded Iowa Energy in two games (114-103, 94-92), while the Jam moved on after downing the Dakota Wizards, the fourth seed, in two games (107-94, 93-91).
The other semifinal matchup will be determined following the conclusion of two games tonight. The second-seeded Springfield Armor host the seventh-seeded Canton Charge, and the third-seeded Austin Toros take on the fifth-seeded Erie BayHawks in decisive third games.
