Chattanooga Lookouts News Release

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Lookouts are excited to announce their 2018 Promotional Schedule. The upcoming 2018 season will feature more fireworks, giveaways and the return of many fan-favorite promotions!

The team's 70-game regular season home slate begins with one of the biggest Opening Days in team history! On April 5, the team will be giving away posters to the first 2,000 fans and magnet schedules to everyone in attendance. Fans who attend that night will also have the chance to win an authentic 2017 Lookouts Championship Ring. The night ends with the first of the team's 18 fireworks shows. The Lookouts will have 12 Fireworks Fridays and will all also shoot off Fireworks on Star Wars Night (May 12), May 27, June 7, Superhero Night (June 23) and our biggest ever fireworks show on July 4!

The Lookouts' giveaways on Opening Day are just the beginning of one of the team's best slate of giveaways in team history. Highlighting the schedule is a Jonathan Rodriguez bobblehead (May 26) presented by Great Clips and a Trevor Hoffman bobblehead (August 24) presented by Coyote. Other items to be given away this season include Lookouts Scarves (April 20) presented by CoreCivic, Logo Baseballs (May 27) presented by Ace, 2018 Team Photo (June 3), Rally Towels (July 14) presented by CoreCivic, Mini-Bats (July 15) and College Football Tickets (August 11) presented by Dr.Pepper. The upcoming season also features our 26th Annual Used Car Night (August 4) presented by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union.

"Every year we strive to bring our fans a great promotional schedule," said Lookouts' President Rich Mozingo. "With more fireworks and giveaways than ever, 2018 is set to be another fun-filled season of Lookouts baseball."

This season the Lookouts will also auction off two sets of themed jerseys. On April 29, the team will be having Hispanic Heritage Night at the ballpark presented by First Tennessee Bank. That Sunday the team will wear jerseys featuring flags from all over the world that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit La Paz. Less than a month later the Lookouts will host their annual Star Wars Night (May 12) and auction off jerseys to raise awareness and funds for the Hydrocephalus Association.

At AT&T Field this season fans will also be able to look forward to the team's weekly promotions. Every Thursday is Thirsty Thursday with drink specials starting at $1. On Autograph Sundays fans are invited to stick around after the game for an autograph session and a chance to meet your favorite Lookouts. Sundays mark the return of Food Drive Sunday presented by Tennessee 811. Fans who come out to the game on Sundays will be able to donate a canned good and receive a free general admission ticket.  Be sure to come out every Monday for Kids Eat Free presented by Northshore Pediatric Dentistry, where fans 12 and under will receive a free hot dog and drink. Fans will once again be able to run the bases presented by Great Clips after every Lookouts' home game. After every Sunday day game fans can play catch on the field courtesy of Academy Sports.

Returning to Chattanooga, and headlining the Lookouts schedule of entertainment acts, are the World Famous ZOOperstars! who return for two dates this season, April 28 and July 7. The Lookouts also welcome Breakin' BBoy Mccoy to AT&T Field on April 7 and April 8.
