Longest road trip of season continues tonight

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indianapolis Ice plays game four of its ten-game road trip tonight with an 8:00 p.m. face-off with the Wichita Thunder from the Kansas Coliseum. Indianapolis went 2-1-0 on its first leg of the trip last weekend.

Tonight's matchup is a pivotal game as Indy, Wichita, and Memphis are separated by just three points for the final two playoff spots in the Northern Conference. The Ice has had success so far this season against the Thunder posting a 5-1-0 mark against the club.

Bernie John leads the Ice in scoring against Wichita this season with 15 points (5G, 10A) while goaltender Brent Zelenewich has yet to lose to Wichita, posting a 3-0-0 record, 2.67 GAA, and a .930 save percentage.

After tonight's contest, the Ice plays Friday night against the Tulsa Oilers at 8:35 p.m., which will be the halfway point of the current ten-game road trip.
