(Lancaster, CA) - Steve Garrabrants had three hits for the JetHawks on Monday night. However, the Inland Empire 66ers came to town and beat the JetHawks 10-1 in the opening game of the four-game series at Clear Channel Stadium at Lancaster, CA.

Inland Empire scored four runs in the first inning, three coming on a home run by Bryan Lahair. Wladimir Balentine followed with a solo shot to put the 66ers up 4-0.

Lahair and Balentine would go back-to-back for the second time in the game in the top of the fifth inning to give Inland a 7-0 lead.

In the seventh, Lahair tied a California League record when he hit his third home run of the game. It was also the second time a visiting player hit three home runs in a game against the JetHawks. Adem Keim also did it on May 31 in a game against High Desert.

Lancaster's only run of the game came in the eighth. Brian Rose reached on an error and would score on a single to center by Garrabrants.

The series with Inland Empire continues on Tuesday night at Clear Channel Stadium. Chad Scarbery will make the start for the JetHawks and Jason Macintosh goes to the mound for the 66ers in the 7:00 P.M. game.
