
Locomotion to be part of football doubleheader

Chattanooga Locomotion News Release
Two games of professional football will be played this Saturday at Chattanooga Central High School, 5728 Highway 58, when both the Chattanooga Steam and the Chattanooga Locomotion take the field for a double-header starting at 3:00 PM.
The Chattanooga Steam will play the Georgia Extreme at 3:00 PM. The Steam, a new member of the North American Football League, will play an exhibition game against the Georgia Extreme who they tied twice last season and won their playoff game by three points to advance to the final round of playoffs in the Southern Football League's 2003 season. The Steam currently holds a roster of 82 local players and has 30 returning players from last season.
The Chattanooga Locomotion Women's Professional Football Team of the National Women's Football Association are now (6 â 0) and will kick off at 7:00 PM. The Locomotion is looking to clinch the Southern Division Championship Title for the second straight year with a win over the Asheville Assault. The Locomotion defense is the top rated defense in the National Women's Football Association with over forty teams across the country. The Locomotion has had only 7 points scored on them this season and are looking for a repeat of another undefeated season for 2004.
June 5th has been sponsored by Dallas Bay Baptist Church and will be a fun day for the whole family. Special events include, Pastor Ken Duggan, Associate Pastor Marty Thompson, and Tyler Shannon the Minister of Youth taking 4 snaps from the Locomotion Offense while trying to get a first down against the Chattanooga Locomotion Defense. Members and staff from Dallas Bay Baptist Church will also run competitions during the Locomotion quarter changes and half time. Tickets can be purchased from the church to help with a fundraiser for Dallas Bay Baptist Church Youth Missions by calling 842-9299.
Activity Rentals will be providing a moon walk and a slide for the kids during both games as we promote family night in conjunction with WTCI Kids Club Night during both games.
