
Locklyn Returns for 2005 Season

Southaven, MS- The af2 league office has assigned WR/DB Carlos Locklyn to the Memphis Xplorers.
Locklyn was with the team for three games during their 2004 playoff season. During those three games Locklyn had five receptions for 55 yards. Defensively, Locklyn added four solo tackles, two assisted tackles, three pass breakups and recovered one fumble.
"Carlos Locklyn is a very talented football player, both offensively and defensively," stated Xplorers Head Coach Danton Barto. "We believe he will be a veteran leader on this team."
The WR/DB has additional af2 experience with Manchester. In three games with the Wolves he caught six passes for 69 yards, including one touchdown. He also accumulated ten tackles in those three games.
Locklyn played collegiate football for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He spent time in training camp with the New York Giants of the NFL.
