
Lizards Pick up 4 Players in 2014 Collegiate Draft

Heading into the 2014 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft, the New York Lizards had four selections to make. In the first round, the Lizards held the third and fourth overall picks, which they obtained from Rochester in a trade for Justin Turri and the second overall pick earlier this week. After the first round, the Lizards were not scheduled to pick again until the fifth round, with the 34th overall pick. Their final pick of the night would come in the eighth round with the 58th overall pick. The Lizards add two defenseman, Joe Fletcher from Loyola and Luke Duprey from Duke, an attackman, Brandon Mangan from Yale, and a midfielder Alex Zomerfeld, from Bryant.
