Lizards Announce 2016 Game Schedule

New York Lizards News Release


Garden City, NY - With much anticipation, Major League Lacrosse has released the 2016 schedule today.

After ending the Rattlers' season in 2015, the Lizards look forward to starting off on the right note in a rematch of the 2015 MLL Championship for the 2016 seasons' inaugural game. This game will be played on Saturday, April 23rd at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium at 5:00 PM.

Another exciting matchup on the Lizards' 2016 schedule is a meeting with perennial rival, the Boston Cannons, on Saturday, May 8th. The Cannons will come to town hoping to avenge their loss to the Lizards in the 2015 MLL Semi-Final Game. The Lizards will close out the 2016 regular season in a matchup against the Ohio Machine on Saturday, August 6 at home. In 2016, the Lizards will play all seven of their home games at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium.
