Indiana Fever News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - For the first time, virtually every Indiana Fever game will be broadcast live on television, or online via WNBA LiveAccess - a new feature providing free worldwide access to WNBA webcasts during the 2009 WNBA season. The expanded offering of live game viewing complements local and national TV coverage of the WNBA, which enters its 13th season.

Overall, 33 of the Fever's 34 regular season games will be available for live viewing. Every Fever home game in 2009 will be shown live on TV or on FeverBasketball.com, with all but one road game available. The Fever will produce 10 webcasts from Conseco Fieldhouse, completing a home schedule that includes one game on ESPN2 and six regional telecasts on FOX Sports Indiana. The only game unavailable for viewing will be July 23 at San Antonio.

For the 10th consecutive year, the Fever will partner with regional sports network FOX Sports Indiana to produce its local TV package. The tandem of Chris Denari and Debbie Antonelli will team for an eighth straight summer calling the action on Indiana's local telecasts.

Exactly ten years from the day Indianapolis was awarded its WNBA franchise - June 7, 1999 - the Fever hosts the Minnesota Lynx in a home opener that is the first of six home games televised on FOX Sports Indiana. Three games against Eastern Conference rivals Detroit and Connecticut highlight the package, featuring a pair of opponents that the Fever has faced in each of five straight playoff series over the past four years. The package also includes an August date with San Antonio and a September meeting against Phoenix.

In addition, Indiana's home game on Tuesday, June 9 against Seattle, is part of the league's ESPN Tuesday package which runs exclusively on ESPN2.
