Little League Blade This Sunday

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that their trusty mascot Blade is hitting the baseball diamond for a local Little League group.
Blade is headed out to the ballpark this Sunday, June 11th for the final game of the season of the Challenger Little League division at Big Flats Community Park. The game starts at 1 pm and Blade will be on hand to cheer on the participants. Immediately following play, there will be a picnic held in the park and Blade will help present the end of season awards and trophies.
"The Challenger Little League is a fantastic organization," said General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "I am proud to be associated with them and hope everyone else can do their part."
Earlier in the weekend, on Saturday June 10th, Blade will make an appearance at Corning's Colonial Days; weather permitting.
The Elmira Jackals and Blade are willing to do appearances throughout the Twin Tiers during the summer months as part of their efforts to stay active in the community even during the hockey off-season. For more information, please contact Edward Meek in the Jackals office, 607-734-7824 ext. 3212.
