Lions Host Elks on Legends Night Presented by Purolator

(Vancouver)- Coming off their gritty second-half turnaround in Saskatchewan, the 5-1-0 BC Lions return home for another crucial division matchup against the 2-5-0 Edmonton Elks on Saturday, August 6 presented by Purolator. Kickoff is 7:00 pm.
Join us for Legends Night at BC Place as great franchise icons Paul McCallum and Jovan Olafioye will be inducted to the BC Lions Wall Of Fame.
The fun for fans 19 and over begins at 3:00 pm with the return of our Backyard Block Party presented by RE/MAX Canada on the corner of Robson and Beatty Streets. The extravaganza will be highlighted by a musical performance from Famous Players Band.
Fans of all ages can enjoy some additional fun activities on Terry Fox Plaza where beers and margaritas are available for $5 (19 and over) along with plenty of great food specials!
Saturday also marks the return of Purolator Tackle Hunger with fans encouraged to bring cash or food donations to support both the Greater Vancouver and Surrey Food Banks.
Secure your tickets for Saturday's big clash with the Elks. Youth 17 and under get in for $10 with accompanying parents can join them for only $25!
