Columbus Lions News Release
(Columbus, GA)- The Columbus Lions are proud to announce a new program that provides an opportunity for schools in the Chattahoochee Valley to obtain a portable AED for their schools. A brand new Phillips AED will provided to every school that participates in the "Heart of a Lion Fundraising Program" which will require the school to sell a minimum of 100 Flex Packs. The Phillips Heartstart Onsite AED, requires zero training and gives clear voice instructions to guide the responder through each step of the defibrillation process from putting on the pads to delivering a shock.
The onset of portable defibrillators have single-handedly taken the life saving measures of the defibrillator out of the domain of the emergency room and onto the sidelines to help fight the sudden onset of cardiac arrest. In the "Heart of a Lion Fundraising Program," it is our goal to be able to help provide every school in the Chattahoochee Valley a portable Phillips Heartstart Onsite AED.
