Linebacker and receiver sign with Renegades

ROME, GA. - The Renegades have continued preparing for the upcoming AIFL season by signing linebacker Jonathan Crutcher and wide receiver Lemar Parrish.

Crutcher, 6-1, 245 pounds, is from Jacksonville State University where in 2004 he was second on the team with 63 tackles. Jonathan also had one sack, two pass break ups and one fumble recovery. During his junior year at JSU he was the Gamecocks leading tackler with 68 tackles. He also helped the Gamecocks win back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference championships in 2003 and 2004 and was a 3-time All-Conference selection. Jonathan is from Huntsville, AL where he played at Buck Horn High School.

Parrish, 6-0, 210 pounds, played college ball at Florida State University and Western Illinois University. While at Florida State, Lemar was named the Florida State Scout Team Player of the Year, and also set the school vertical jump record. After transferring to Western Illinois University, Lemar set the school record for most yards per carry in a game during his first game with the Leathernecks (4 carries for 85 yards and 3 touchdowns). Lemar is from Miami, FL where he was the first player to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season at North Miami Beach High School.
