Lindsay Davenport, Venus Williams, Anna Kournikova and Martina Hingis Highlight Star-Studded Season

St. Louis, Mo.- Some of the biggest names in tennis, including three former No. 1 players, are coming to St. Louis this summer as the St. Louis Aces of the World TeamTennis Pro League host seven Marquee matches this July at Dwight Davis Tennis Center. Former world No. 1 Lindsay Davenport, who returns to the Aces lineup for the first time since 2001, is scheduled to play 10 matches for the Aces including six at home.
Three time Grand Slam Champion and former world No. 1 Lindsay Davenport will join the Aces for a record-setting six home matches. Davenport will face off against seven- time Grand Slam Champion Venus Williams on Saturday, July 10 when the Aces host the defending WTT Champion Washington Kastles. Davenport will team up with fellow Ace Anna Kournikova on Saturday, July 17 in St. Louis against the Newport Beach Breakers. Davenport is also scheduled to play four road matches. The Aces regular season will wrap up on July 22 when nine-time Grand Slam Champion Martina Hingis brings her New York Buzz to Dwight Davis Tennis Center.

The Aces will complete their team lineup at the 2010 WTT Roster Player Draft on March 16 at 10am Central. Fans can follow the Draft at www.WTT.com.

The World TeamTennis Pro League, which celebrates its 35th season this July, includes teams in 10 markets throughout the U.S. The Aces, who are one of three Missouri- based teams, will play a total of 14 matches during the three-week regular season, July 5-22. The top two teams from both the Western and Eastern Conference advance to the WTT Conference Championships on July 23 with the winners playing for the WTT Championship on July 25. The Aces are in the Western Conference along with teams from Newport Beach (Calif.), Springfield (Mo.), Kansas City (Mo.) and Sacramento.
