(ORANGEVILLE, Ontario) - Sunday afternoon, at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville, the London Lightning used a fourth quarter push to beat the Orangeville A's 111-106.
The Lightning now improve to 4-2 record and sit atop the Central Division.
"Great road win. Our guys gutted it out at the end. We got outworked in the first half but we got some great individual performances and togetherness from the bench and that allowed us to come back and get the job done," said head coach Kyle Julius.
Stephen Maxwell had a double-double (22 points, 19 rebounds) while Tyshawn Patterson was a key player in the second half, also adding 22 points.
Nick Okorie made his Lightning debut posting 15 points.
The London Lightning come back home to face the Niagara River Lions at Budweiser Gardens this Thursday. Tip-off is 7:00 p.m.
