London Lightning News Release

(BRAMPTON, Ontario) - Tonight, at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, the London Lightning were defeated by the Brampton A's 107-106.

"We let this game slip through our fingers," said new big man Jermaine Johnson. "We missed a lot of easy shots and we missed a lot of free throws. That seems to be our biggest hurdle right now. The plan is to get in the gym and practice our free throws."

Johnson was the night's top scorer with 22 points. Close behind in scoring was veteran Elvin Mims with 19 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Tony Bennett with 15 points and seven assists.

The Lightning will be looking to end their five game losing streak as they face the Ottawa SkyHawks on Thursday, February 13. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. at Budweiser Gardens.
