Lightning Strike Power Outage

(LONDON, Ontario) - Thursday night, in front of 2,615 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Mississauga Power, 123-107. The Lightning now stand at 7-5.

Jonathan Mills led all scorers with 29 points and 12 rebounds: "The first half was slow and sloppy but once we were able to put that behind us and focus on playing defensively, we took back the game."

In addition to Mills, two other Lightning players scored double-doubles, including Marvin Phillips with 25 points and 17 rebounds, and Emmanuel Little with 18 points and 10 rebounds. John Hart added 21 points.

Omar Strong led the Power in scoring with 23 points.

The Lightning play their next two games against the Power. The team will travel to Mississauga to play on Saturday night and will be back in action at Budweiser Gardens on Thursday, December 18.

Tip-off is 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available through the Budweiser Gardens Box Office.
