Thousand Oaks, CA (4/2009) - The Los Angeles Lightning have signed California Senator Tony Strickland, officially announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Serving the California Senate District 19 which includes portions of Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties, Strickland's top priority as Senator has been to grow California's economy, working diligently to find solutions that will preserve funding for vital programs like healthcare, education, and transportation.
"We are delighted to bring Senator Strickland into the Lightning family. Tony's renowned leadership skills will prove invaluable for our on the court success and the development of our younger players".
