Lightning Fighting Hunger With "Can The Coyotes" Food Drive

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Lightning of the arenafootball2 league are asking fans of all ages to participate in donating canned and other non-perishable food items at select Stockton and Lodi Food-4-Less and Rancho San Miguel locations from June 9-13 as part of the Lightning's "Can the Coyotes" food drive event.

Lightning players and select members of the "Shockwave" dance team will be present to help collect food items from all fans and all items will benefit the Greater Stockton Emergency Food Bank. All fans who bring canned and other non-perishable food items will receive one free ticket voucher (redeemable for available Upper or Lower End-Zone seating) to the Saturday, June 14 Lightning game against the rival Central Valley Coyotes, beginning at 7:00 p.m. from Stockton Arena.

At stake is also a four-game losing streak the Lightning aims to break against the Coyotes.

Listed below are the locations the Lightning are scheduled to visit the week of Monday, June 9 and lasting through Friday, June 13:
