
Lightning Defeat Storm in Front of Record Crowd

(LONDON, Ontario) - Tonight, in front of a record crowd of 8,473 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Island Storm 111-96. The Lightning now improve to 4-1.
"The game was up and down, but we came together as a great unit tonight", said Coach Carlos Knox.
Tonight's top scorer for the Lightning was Zane Johnson, with 23 points. Marvin Phillips scored a double-double, with 15 rebounds, and 22 points. Emmanuel Little also chipped in 18 points.
Marvin Phillips was happy with how the team played tonight: "It's always fun playing in front of this many fans, and it's even better when we win."
The Island Storm's top scorer was Mike Williams, with 15 points.
The Lightning will play their next game on the road tomorrow afternoon, Sunday November 16th, against the Mississauga Power.
Their next home game will be held at Budweiser Gardens on Sunday November 23rd, against Windsor Express at 2:00pm. Tickets are available through the Budweiser Gardens.
