
Lightning Defeat Express, Lead Series 3-2

(LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night, in front of 6,626 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Windsor Express 108-98.
The Lightning now lead the Express 3-2 in the best of seven playoff series.
Akeem Scott scored 22 points, seven assists and three steals. Warren Ward also scored 22 points. Stephen Maxwell recorded another double-double with 21 points and 18 rebounds. Akeem Wright and Ed Horton both had 12 points.
The Lightning will now travel to Windsor on Friday, May 27 to play game six against the Express.
If a seventh game is needed, the Lightning will return home to Budweiser Gardens to play on Tuesday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. If the Lightning win game six or game seven, they will move on to play the Halifax Hurricanes in the NBL Canada finals.
