(LONDON, Ontario) - Saturday night, in front of 7,285 fans at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning defeated the Brampton A's, 118-109.

The Lightning now stand at 10-6.

The Lightning's top point scorer of the night was Al Stewart with 27 points and seven assists.

"Brampton is a tough team to beat. Thankfully we never gave up and grinded out that defence," said Stewart. "We are glad to have finished 2014 with a win, but our focus is now on next Saturday against Windsor."

Other top performers included Marvin Phillips with 23 points and 19 rebounds and Emmanuel Little with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

The Lightning will play their next game at the Budweiser Gardens on Saturday, January 3 against the Windsor Express. Tickets are available through the Budweiser Gardens Box office.
