Lightning Clinch 1st in Central with Win

(Windsor, ON) The London Lightning have clinched 1st in the central division with a 121-119 win over the Windsor Express. it was a close game throughout with both teams trading baskets for most of the game. The Bolts were able to lock in and make the plays down the streach to win the game in what as a great tune up game for the playoffs as even though they are eliminated from playoff contention the Express played hard the entire game. 121 to 119 was the final.

The Lightning were led offensively by AJ Gaines who scored 20 points off the bench in his usual efficient manner with 7-11 shooting from the field. Marcus Capers scored 19 points, Canadians Alex Johnson and Garrett Williamson Both finished with 17 points. Xavier Moon had 15 points of the bench and last but not least Kevin Ware fell 2 assists shy of a triple double with 13 points 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
