LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Ignite FC is partnering with Special Olympics Michigan - Area 8 to offer unique $15 tickets to the Sept. 28 match against Livonia City FC, with a portion of the proceeds going to the organization.
Area 8 serves more than 3,750 athletes between Ingham and Eaton Counties, with the mission of providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics in Michigan is a non-profit organization, which is primarily supported through private funding, and Area 8 is dependent on thousands of hard-working volunteers who donate their time to the program.
