New York Liberty News Release
New York, NY - MSG Networks announced today that New York Liberty forward Swin Cash has been added as a Knicks studio analyst for select games during the 2015-16 season. Cash will make her Knicks telecast debut on Friday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. during "Visa Knicks Game Night." In addition, Cash is the host of "Nothing But Knicks," the half-hour original series featuring Head Coach Derek Fisher, assistant coaches and players as they take fans on a behind-the-scenes look at the Knicks with special access to practice and film sessions. "Nothing But Knicks" airs bi-weekly on Fridays before complete coverage of the Knicks games.
Cash commented on her new role saying, "As a professional athlete, I have been immersed in the world of basketball for most of my life. For me though, it's not just about playing the game at the highest level, it's about covering the game at the highest level too. To be able to use my basketball IQ to cover the New York Knicks for MSG Networks is an incredible opportunity. I'm excited to get started!"
One of the most accomplished players in WNBA history, Cash joined the Liberty in 2014. Her career includes three WNBA Championships, five WNBA All-star game appearances (including MVP awards in two of the games), two Olympic Gold Medals and two NCAA Women's Division 1 championships. In addition, Cash has appeared as a panelist on the CBS Sports Network program "We Need to Talk" and as a guest analyst on CBS Sports Network, ESPN, NBA TV and NBCSN. To go along with her playing and television career, Cash has served as a guest columnist for Slam Magazine, Huffington Post and Stylecaster.com.
